_______________________

Yesterfest is a community event with hundreds of volunteers that help to put on a wide variety of activities.  Yesterfest is sponsored by the Bastrop Opera House and the Downtown Business Alliance (DBA).  This year's event will kick off  at 9:00 a.m with activities around Bastrop (not at Fishermans Park),  you will experience a wide variety of activities depicting the different times of Bastrop's history. There will be various pioneering groups displaying the clothing and tools used long ago as well as music and dancing.  Some individuals will be wearing authentic cowboy outfits along with their six-shooters, in addition there will be a variety of  individuals showing off other style clothing worn during pioneer days. There will be displays showing how things were made for example: fabric, quilts, wooden tools, and many others. We will have folk music, dancing, exhibits, games, lots of good food and friendly people to make for a great experience.
